My MS warrior programme has been designed using my 10 years of experience training people with MS. Perfect if you don’t know where to start or what to do, OR if you’ve been training for a while and need some new stimulus for your training regime.

In order to ensure that the programme meets your level of capability I break it up into the following categories:

Category A – Little or no visible symptoms.

Assumes you can walk capably, and grip with both hands.

Category B – Difficulty walking, use a stick and occasionally a wheelchair

Assumes you have some strength in your legs, can walk, aided or unaided for short periods and have a reasonable grip in both hands.

Category C – Full time wheelchair users

Assumes little or no movement in the lower body, reasonable upper body functionality and reasonable grip in both hands.

    This programme changed my life. I have gained confidence and ability and am no longer afraid of my MS. I have learned a great deal about diet and exercise and how it affects not only my physical wellness but my emotional wellbeing in a very positive way. I followed the diet and changed what I ate but not how much so I was never hungry. I lost a stone in weight but I lost 10 inches off my waist and dropped 2 dress sizes. I have reached the end of this 12 week programme but will continue to diet and exercise and I am very much looking forward to phase 2. I would recommend this to anyone with a long term health condition, not just Multiple Sclerosis as it puts you back in charge of your life again.

    Well worth the investment in Dom, his well thought out programme of exercises that challenge but don’t overtire you, or make you feel inadequate, and easy to follow nutrition guides that you can use to simplify your diet with all the healthy food you need. I have just finished the 12 week MS Warrior programme and have lost weight , feel stronger and better informed about exercise and it’s importance in managing my wellbeing.

    I was already an exerciser but had lost my mojo and needed a boot up the bum to get going again. I was also guilty of only doing things that I didn’t find difficult and not pushing myself.
    As a result of this programme my walking speed has mostly increased with a few less trips over my own feet. I’ve also become braver with weights for my arms and back and as a result drying my hair and hanging out the washing are not as painful.
    It’s definitely prompted me to push myself more, so I’ve found a new pilates class that works me harder.
    I would have liked 3 parts rather than 2, because towards the end of each 6 week part I was getting a little bored, maybe because I’m used to following classes and DVD’s where things are changed up a bit more frequently (I am a Jillian Michael’s follower) but that’s probably just me.
    The daily emails are the perfect start to the day and really add substance to the programme.
    Would recommend to anyone as a way of getting your exercise and eating plan on track.

    This has been a life changing experience for me. I haven’t always been able to exercise as often as the programme suggests, but I have gone from very little exercise to working out at least two or thee times a week. I have lost 10 pounds and I have loved feeling more energised and healthier over all. This is just the beginning for me. I will be continuing with the exercises and have changed my eating habits for good. I had already experimented with diet and exercise but this has given me the extra motivation I needed.     What a surprise it was finding that i was able to exercise , Had given into just being a hopeless case of laziness ,No motivation , No will, No point
    I then discovered Dom , His healthy eating plan and motivational emails with a exercise regime which was challenging to start with but became a part of my everyday life. I lost weight ,nearly 13lbs in the first week. Thats when the exercise became more enjoyable and a realisation that putting in the effort absolutely makes all the difference to my MS Symptoms . Hey there were times when i couldn’t physically carry out a certain exercise , the motivation was always there from Dom and everyone else in the Group.
    This has totally changed my outlook towards going forward with MS and i would totally recommend anyone to get on board and go for it.

    I would highly recommend this programme to anyone. After the first 5 weeks of the exercises and healthier eating – I was feeling more energised and walking slightly better. I had also lost 6lbs which was great. I unfortunately fell off the rails as got bad news about a family member plus the summer heat exhausted me and I started eating a bad diet again with a ‘what’s the point’ attitude. The daily emails however were motivational and meant that I continued to do at least some exercises when I had time.
    Dom was very helpful as well when the programme changed halfway and I was struggling with one of them suggesting an alternative way to do the exercise.
    In conclusion I think this plan is an excellent start to healthy eating and exercises. I have started the programme again and I am seriously considering the custom fit programme as well.

    Dom is actually the first trainer that I have encountered who knows about MS, who understands and has explained things regarding keeping well as possible with MS. The exercises are hard to begin with but not impossible which means you can stay consistent and move up the ability spectrum! The nutrition guidance means you have fewer reactions to things that cause inflammation, I have lost weight and moved up the ability scale. His daily emails are encouraging and informative (and funny) like his videos. Well worth the money and definitely worth a try.

    I’ve learnt so much from your daily emails and the diet is a new way of life for me from now on. Totally different to how I used to eat and has made such a difference to a number of my symptoms/problems. My head is clearer, dizziness has improved, fatigue has improved, no headaches, no longer need to take laxitives, skin is clear. Leaning how to eat healthily has made such a difference. Amazing.
    The program has given me something to focus on. By exercising in the correct way, along with the diet, it is definitely a new way of doing things for me from now on.
    I wanted to maintain my weight which I have done through having suitable snacks. So all good.
    I’m planning on doing the warrior program again and also trying some different exercises from your utube channel then I’ll take it from there. Thanks again x

    I just completed Dom’s 12 week MS warrior training programme and I feel all the better for it.
    After following the leg exercises I feel I have a lot more control over my left leg which was prone to dragging and getting tired quickly. I now have a lot more control and strength in that leg and have even been able to do some running.

    I have drastically cut down my sugar intake (which used to be very high – I love chocolate and jelly sweets!!) and also my carb in take is a lot lower. The more MS friendly food that I have been making tastes great and the whole family has been getting involved with the diet plan to. I was fortunate that I didn’t have to lose weight, but I did have to start eating a lot healthier than I had been.

    Dom’s daily emails are informative and some of them make you think about yourself and your condition. I found them useful and felt they helped me focus on what I was wanting to gain from the programme; which was fitness, control over my MS and a more positive outlook for myself VS. MS.

    I would recommend this programme to anyone. Especially those that go to the gym now and then and don’t have a clue what their supposed to be doing, or find that they give up after about 3 weeks because nothing seems to be happening!

    The best thing I could have done was to sign up for MS Warrior. The daily emails are supportive, informative and encouraging and I’ve gone from the exercises at home to going to a gym 3 times a week and doing a pilates lesson once a week. The diet has totally changed my eating habits and I’ve lost 20 lb so far. I feel like I’m part of a big extended family and what the support and positivity has done for my mental health is fantastic. I have 2pms and signing up for the programme was me just refusing to lie down and give up, and I feel so motivated and positive! If you are thinking of doing this, I’d say without hesitation to do it, it’s just been a fantastic experience and will be carrying on with everything I’ve learnt, the exercises and the eating plan. Superb programme from someone who really understands.

    This programme has genuinely changed my life for the better. The daily emails I received have been positive, informative and super encouraging, and the group as a whole feels like being part of a really supportive xtended family. Following the eating plan has helped me transform how I eat and I’ve lost 20lb so far. The exercises are great and I actually go to pilates once a week and follow a 3x weekly gym programme now on the back of my confidence being built with Dom. I have 2pms and the programme never fails to be encouraging and super positive. It has taught me so much and I really feel that I’m in a better place now than I was 3 months ago. I’m going to carry on with everything I’ve learnt on the programme and can only recommend it. Dom understands about MS and joining Warrior has given me the support of a big extended family. The condition clearly is rubbish but I feel armed with the knowledge of what I can do with my diet and exercise to really fight positively. It’s been a complete game changer for me.

    This program has really helped me learn how to exercise without always fatiguing. I used to do a workout and then not be able to workout again for a week at least. With this one, I could get a doable workout according to the schedule and never tapped out. First time in forever! I really liked the email delivery each day. If I had to go to program page, I wouldn’t have followed through as I have not followed through other programs. I also opted for the sitting version and it showed me what I really could do. I feel good.

    I have just finished Dom Thorpe’s 12 week MS warrior programe category B. I have a notable improvement in my energy level and mobility. Not to mention my goal was to loose 20 pounds, I crushed it! I have lost 32 pounds and am still losing. I am amazed at how easy it has been for me. My only complaint would be almost 3 weeks of bowel issues. I guess 59 years of eating shit and your body takes a bit to Dom presents everything in a way even I can understand. The exercises are very easy to follow and presented in a way one can easily adapt to not matter how you are challenged. Thank you Dom Thorpe for putting together such an awesome programe!

    I have just finished the warrior programme, it has been a tough twelve weeks as getting some of the bits for the recipes has been a little bit difficult due to the nationwide lockdown but the actual programme has been fabulous lost some weight, got some mojo back and feel great.     This is a great programme and I am both happy and sad to have reached week 12! I will continue but will have to motivate myself to do it, without the constant reminders and group support. I joined as lockdown started for covid 19 and was so happy to have something to focus on and something to do when I couldn’t go for my old normal routine. I have lost 4kg without even trying as Dom reminds us constantly to think about our food intake. This is a brilliant programme and well worth the money. I think it will just keep giving for as long as I need it. Thank you Dom, it is the perfect programme for those with MS, both more and less able.     This program has been great. The Warrior program not only increases health and movement/strength but increases confidence. Dom remains available to everyone in the program for help and advice. He helps to give suggestions and adjustments to the food plan and help to make further adjustments for accomplishing movement goals if you are struggling. He knows and understands the situations we are in and doesn’t get impatient. He quickly becomes your pal in the process.

    Just finishing my twelfth week and I’ve found the whole experience amazing. I’ve lost 8kgs which was my aim, Never felt hungry or craved anything. I’ve reenable to do all of the exercises although some were difficult. Dom’s videos explained everything clearly. I’ve learned how to eat properly to maintain my weight and how exercises can help keep me strong.

    I took advantage of the discounted offer on this program. Its been beneficial and worth the investment. On the plus side:
    1. The exercises are easy to follow and suited to my ability. My condition means that I had limited mobility (but could walk short periods). I had trouble with balance and lost confidence.
    2. Dom was just the right amount of cheese to get through 😉
    3. Over the 12 week period I found noticeable improvement in my posture, balance and underlying confidence.

    These outcomes made my investment more than worthwhile.

    On the negative side as a vegetarian for 30 years and vegan for 10 the recipes and diet regime were not suited to me. While I understood that this would be the case it was disappointing on a couple of occasions to receive the daily email containing Doms personal opinion on vegan diets rather than the program addressing nutritional alternatives. Had I not been so aware of the nutritional requirements of my condition this would have been more of an issue in signing up to the program.

    Overall I found this to be a great experience and I will continue to follow the exercise regime. Thanks Dom!☺

    I would recommend this program. I have stuck to it rigidly which has been hard as I am a very fussy eater. In last week of 12 and have lost one stone eight pound , going to carry on and try and lose another stone as I have put on so much weight since my diagnoses six years ago as I can no longer walk which was my main exercise and I loved to walk everywhere. Have found some of the exercises hard as my condition is quite extreme but have done every session. Unfortunately no improvement in the things I was hoping for like ability to sit myself up or trying to walk and balance but I think that is due to the progression of my ms which has been severe and quick. Will carry on with diet and exercise and would like to thank Dom for his help and encouragement.

    Dom’s regular emails and on-line exercises have certainly kept me going more than my own attempts to motivate myself have ever done, and I hope to continue on my own after 12 weeks following the programme. The diet doesn’t meet all my beliefs about how I should be eating (more veg. protein), but I must admit that I’ve lost weight and not felt hungry. The family were happy to follow the diet too, with occasional added carbs. The exercises are efficient and not too time consuming. There are gains to be made by being as fit as possible; I will continue on my own but tweak the diet, and introduce a few more exercises, partly as I have a few other conditions as well. I think it is important to emphasise that progressive MS cannot be fixed by either diet or exercise, otherwise those taking part, or their families and friends, can start blaming themselves for not trying hard enough. I was initially put off by the name “MS Warrior”, which implies a battle, and the possibility of defeat, and suggests to me that I should be pushing hard all the time, rather than sometimes accepting what I’ve lost, and relaxing and enjoying what I can. Nevertheless, thank you Dom.

    The programme wasn’t really for me. I live on my own & needed additional help from carers and friends.Don’t do much cooking from scratch due to disabilities, tend to use microwave instead. Quick and easy!
    Initially, I thought this programme was for me, but wanted to also work with a personal Trainer for motivation, to make sure I was doing the programme properly & & to adapt exercises where possible. I emailed Dom for advice on a P.T. but didn’t hear back, so I gave up. Money is tight for me so in this instance, it was an expensive mistake!
    On a more positive note, if I were more able to manage on my own, I would try and follow this programme.

    I bought the MS warrior program when it was on black Friday sale as I wasn’t sure what to expect or what I would be able to achieve/what it might help me with. I’m at the end of the 12 weeks now, well of the exercise! (I didn’t do diet on the first run through, but plan to on the second!). I have constantly seen improvements week by week of my strength and general fitness. I can now do exercises that I couldn’t achieve in week one with ease. It’s very flexible as a program, and Dom gives you options to be able to do easy versions of the exercises and then as you progress how you can challenge yourself. Doms videos are also funny and there is lots of interesting information on the videos and emails. Highly recommended.

    I decided to do the Warrior B programme as my usual exercise regime has been thrown out the window due to COVID lockdown. I am used to being pushed by a coach and know I need something to help keep me focussed, particularly in an unfamiliar exercise environment. Dom’s programme gave me the nudge every morning to keep at it and push on even when I really didn’t want to! My aim for the course was to, as a minimum, maintain strength so when my normal training resumes I am able to keep up in my squad. I have been really pleased to have increased upper body strength and core stability. My legs haven’t improved but equally they haven’t got worse which given my situation over the past couple of years I am taking as a definite win. As someone who never repeats identical sessions in training (other than test sets) I would have liked 3 four week blocks rather then 2 six week ones as I did get bored towards the end of the section although I will accept it ment I could see the progress made. All in all a great investment which has been well worth doing. Thanks Dom.

    Loved the program! Wasn’t sure of the diet to start with-fish and egg for breakfast-ugh!! But the Facebook group gave some helpful tips and I managed a lot better. I started with 1kg dumb bells and moved up to 2.5kgs in my left hand (weak side) and 3kgs on my right side!! My upper body strength has improved, my legs, well, they’re still a work in progress!! but we shall continue!! Oh, and I lost 12kg! Its a winner!!

    Before starting this program I wasn’t sure I was ready, one day I just took the plunge and I’m very glad I did. I’ve lost just over a stone in weight, and have gained a lot of knowledge, and feel I now have a tools to continue improving. This was always a lifestyle change for me hence my initial reluctance, but the motivational emails often about subjects I was thinking about at the time really helped and have propelled me along. When I started the program we were not planning on moving but that has changed and packing etc has made it difficult to be fully invested in the program so I will start it again, once we have moved in, I have missed days and had occasional treats but like I said I’m in it for the long term, thanks to Dom and his team for the motivation required.

    I just completed my 12 weeks of Warrior Programme cat A and I absolutely loved it.
    At the beginning I wasn’t able to do abs at all ..and now I can do at least 40…and properly 😅.
    My resistance was quite off ..and I didn’t even knew that before I started exercising ..same as my balance.
    This improved so much during these weeks.
    My body changed completely .. I have strength in my legs ..I am able even to jog now ( never did that before) .
    I will continue exercise every day ..will start the programme again

    This MS Warrior programme is a brilliant programme and has helped me by educating me with managing my MS by exercise, food intake, advice and weight control. It is great how Dom got me to think of all things positively. I received emails daily with helpful information regarding exercise, suitable food to help with my MS, what to avoid that can make the MS worse. It was very helpful receiving daily emails 5am with the link to the videos showing the daily exercises wIth a few suitable meals. I have been able to loose 2 stone and am maintaining. Don Thorpe has the passion and he assisted me when I was struggling to follow the programme. We spoke and he gave me encouragement I needed to get back on track. I am so pleased I have completed this programme and would recommend this to any one with MS.

    I’m on the last couple of days of Warrior A and have to say it really works. I’ve lost 11lbs (but I must clarify I haven’t stuck completely to the meal plan and do have wine at the weekend). I will continue with cutting out the bread, pasta, and sugary things, although sugary things were not something I had anyway.

    My upper body strength and leg strength have increased considerably. I still can’t do sit ups but try and do what I can on this. I have noticed that I haven’t had a back spasm since starting which is brilliant. The daily emails are very welcome and help to reinforce and encourage even on low days.

    I definitely recommend Dom he really knows his stuff.

    A big Thanks Dom, the daily emails were great, I will miss them , they got me Maintaining- (my big downfall) My diet’s improved and my fitness regime hence my physical wellness – my MS Society group are expecting a full body tan and body building show! I’ve been diagnosed with relapsing Ms 12 months ago and I thought that’s it , I will never get better but After 12 weeks of warrior programme I’ve lost 22 pounds , learn to eat healthily and I see huge difference in my energy levels, walking, sleeping, better mood. Also Dom’s Facebook support group is full of fantastic people and they definitely help me to keep going. I’m finishing the programme this week, but I’m gonna start all workouts again from the next week. These workouts are now part of my everyday life and I know this is the way to avoid relapsing.     The Warrior programme has made a huge difference in my life. I have lost weight, have more energy and continue to climb the ability spectrum. Dom’s Facebook videos and daily emails have taught me about nutrition and its effects on MS. They have also kept me motivated. I enjoy belonging to the Facebook groups, which allow me to communicate with people who understand life with MS. Healthy eating and exercise are now a way of life for me, and I feel I am finally taking charge of my scary health condition. Obviously, I’m not cured, but I feel more confident about the future, and I’m so glad I found the Warrior programme. Thank you, Dom.

    I love this program. Exercise was a problem for me, but eating correctly was a bigger problem. I knew what to do, but I just wasn’t doing it. This program was accountability for me. I lost 8 pounds, and my body is feeling tighter. My legs are stronger (that was a huge problem for me). This program targeted everything I needed, and Dom’s guidance was gold. I am going to do this again, with increased weights!

    This programme has truly changed my life. A bit dramatic but honestly true. In 12 weeks it has taught me how to eat healthier and showed me how to improve physically and mentally. The exercise routines are demonstrated very well by Dom and I was encouraged to participate as much as I could. There was always the reminder that you should only exercise as much as you can and that things would probably improve over time. And it was true! The exercises did get easier and by the end of the 12 weeks I even had to use heavier dumbells! I have also lost 6 kilos in weight so far, but there is a more to lose . This has truly changed the way I live now. My mobility has improved, my diet has changed completely and I am
    positive in my outlook, even with Multiple Sclerosis. So thank you Dom for helping me to understand how to really improve my life. My family have seen a difference too! Did I mention the comedian in Dom? It makes the bad days a bit more bearable. Thank you Dom.

    The program is helping me build muscle mass, I am in need of repeating the 12 week, and then repeating again using heavier weights. My fatigue has not improved yet, but I believe it will once I am use to exercising each muscle.

    I love the daily emails. They are motivational enough to keep me exercising. Honestly I wish I had started the program sooner. I still can’t walk but feel better mentally about my situation. I highly recommend this program to anyone with MS.

    What can I say, I love it!!
    As I sit at the end of the 12 weeks I feel less fatigued, less bumpy, better energy and much more disciplined on those health distractions (drink and snacks)
    I am even developing my own variations that are helping with restless leg and have meant I no longer need meds.

    I love Doms style and pace and attempts at humour ;o)

    I’m so thankful that Dom Thorpe left some posts in the “Things That Work” site. I’m so happy with the progress I was making & continue to make.
    Dom’s daily emails from across the Atlantic to me in Michigan m, USA were perfect! He combines great information along with humor. His workouts seemed a little easy for me when I started, but as I followed what Dom suggested with added weights & reps I got a great daily workout!
    I found the best times in my day to compete them & I even did them when I was out of town for Thanksgiving. It felt so good!
    I was improving with my balance until we experienced a tragedy at my husband’s school. (High School shooting in Oxford) I struggled with sadness & self motivation during that initial sad times, but just reading Dom’s emails motivated me to exercise daily again. Im getting back to improving my balance & walking which isn’t what it should be in my mind.
    The one thing that could maybe improved was when I paid in full & received an email with links to each workout. Locating that email to use complete the workout again was not a quick click. I’m not the most technical, but it seems if there was a page online that I could access easier, that’d be pretty great. No clue how that could easily be done though…
    Overall, I strongly recommend the MS Warrior program and, honestly, any program that Dom offers for people with MS or ‘normal people’ that want to loose weight. 💪🏼

    Just completed the MS Warrior programme – and I thought it was great! I am starting it again (one of the great things about it) because, for various personal reading, I didn’t/couldn’t adhere to the programme as best I could. But that’s my issue, not the programme’s. I loved the daily emails.
    I’ll report back when I’ve completed it for the second time. But I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you, Dom.

    Program gave me hope and an education on how I could do all I could to help myself be as fit as possible with m.s. Since early on in the program I felt confident to walk without a stick and have lost over a stone in weight.
    From not knowing where to start and being a bit overwhelmed by the diagnosis Dom has thrown me a lifesaving lifeline, helping with motivation, learning ,training and helping me sort out my diet.
    A great number of people in my life have commented on how much better I have been. My GP asked for a n explanation of the diet as did 3 other folk with friends who have MS and it was my pleasure to pass on the word about the program. Please could the recipe book come out before Christmas because it could solve a lot of my Christmas present problems. Friends, family, M.S. Nurse, Physio are all really impressed at my progress.
    I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dom for the MS Warrior Program .Without it I am sure my life today would have been a lot less mobile and positive. Daily emails were very encouraging.
    I would recommend M.S. Warrior Program to anyone. What do you have to loose?

    Program is great but like me perfectly imperfect.
    Think the quality of the sound in some of the videos could be improved. I am delighted to hear its being upgraded.
    I found it useful to make a doodle of a weeks exercises so I could do extra as time went on.
    Might be beneficial to have an illustration sheet as aid memoir.
    For folk who don’t know where to start like me it was a Godsend.

    I did not follow the diet plan because I tried to cut out the carbs and found it too hard but also I don’t really fully believe in a no carbs diet generally. I do believe in whole foods including wholemeal bread and brown rice .
    However the videos were short and easy to follow. I have found the weight training with dumbbells have made a difference to my strength and balance.

    I absolutely love this! I use it when my fatigue is not affecting me that day, and I even get my partner to join in when he feels his mind is a bit “wibbly”, and he needs something to perk him up and get him back on track. I enjoy the emails I get every working day, and access to the FB page where I can share my wins and even watch live videos of Dom Thorpe! 11/10 I wish I had found it sooner!

    Just completed the warrior program, cat b. Only did the exercises, tried to follow the eating plan but it’s not geared for vegetarians and found it quite restrictive ( couldn’t eat 2 hard boiled eggs every morning!)also quite smoking at the same time, (note to self, one thing at a time) actually gained 5 kg, will redo the program now, loved the emails every day and the recommended exercises, I am much stronger upper body wise, legs have a mind of there own especially in the heat, my arm muscles are so toned and big now- arms of shirts very tight, so will do the program again with smaller weights, I found the support groups on facebook a god send and Doms catch up sessions very beneficial, thanks Dom

    Brillant course been absolutely life changing experience for me. As someone who has MS I’ve alwasy found it difficult to improve myself and my mobility but with this 12 week course i got what i wanted and more its now 2 months on and im no longer confined to my wheelchair and have lost 2 and a half stone and i plan to carry on going. Feel like I’ve actually got my life back thanks to dom and his brilliant programme!
